Number Place Generator Version 1.0 – Operation Manual
Mode
The playing board will remain in the current game mode. On startup the generator will be set to “Setup” mode.
Mode Display Location
The current mode is displayed in text at the top left of the screen next to the “Clear All” button.
Setup Mode
Push the button marked “Setup” at the top of the screen to enter “Setup” mode. The setup mode is used to determine number position and setup the board for automatic puzzle creation.
Generate Mode
Push the “Generate” button to enter puzzle generation mode. The top left of the screen will display “Generating” when the program is generating a puzzle. This location will also update to display the amount of time that has lapsed and number of iterations required to create a puzzle.
Stop Mode
Push the “Stop” button to suspend operation of the program. The program will remain stopped until another button is pushed.
Play Mode
Push the “Play” button to try your own hand at solving the puzzle.
Please note that many functions included in more consumer-oriented software have not been included in this program.
